Campbell Business

For the past 3 years, Campbell Business has presented the Hearts for the Homeless campaign. The campaign is a partnership with the 5 Days for the Homeless campaign at the U of R Business Students Association. Its purpose is to help raise money to counter homelessness within Regina, such as the Carmichael Outreach, a local non-profit and the inspiration behind the event, which continues to help the community. In March, Campbell Business Club put on a series of events to raise funds. These events included taping teachers to a wall, CAP donations, float sales and popcorn sales. Even though the campaign was only three days long rather than the usual five days, we still managed to raise $1000 for the cause! We thank all the volunteers for their hard work and hope that this fundraiser will help make a difference in our community!

Campbell named SK Business School of the Year for 3rd year in a row!

Recently students from the Campbell Business program participated in the 2014 Saskatchewan High School Case Competition put on by the Saskatchewan BusinessTeachers' Association. The event was hosted by the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. The Campbell students had an              excellent showing as they came home with the title of 2014 SK  Business School of the Year (along with many scholaship opportunities)! The event includes both a student social event and the academic case study component where students present to a panel of judges from Saskatchewan universities and industry professionals.

It was an extra special event for Campbell as the Edwards School of Business is named after Campbell graduate  N. Murray Edwards whom the Campbell Business program was fortunate enough to meet in person earlier this year on a business trip to Calgary. Mr. Edwards is the first ever recipient of the Distinguished Business Alumni award at Campbell.
