Fall Music Concerts: Dress Rehearsal Stage Plan and Concert Information

We are looking forward to seeing you at the upcoming Campbell Fall Music Concerts this week!

Please find attached and below the revised Stage Plan for both evenings. Kindly note the important information regarding arrival times for dress rehearsal as well as important uniform information.

FALL MUSIC CONCERTS:

When: Tuesday, October 24 and Wednesday, October 25
7:00pm Concert Begins


DRESS REHEARSAL TIMES!!!!

ALL MUSIC STUDENTS MUST BE ON TIME FOR DRESS REHEARSAL!!!
To make the best use of our time and to avoid congestion in certain areas, we will use the following warm up schedule. As we have a small amount of time, plan ahead so that you are on time!

ALSO - PLEASE NOTE UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION TIMES BELOW AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY TO ENSURE YOU ARE ON TIME!

Tuesday, October 24

5:00pm Intermediate Voices rehearse in Auditorium
5:30pm Grade 11/12 Chamber Choir members arrive
5:45pm Chamber Choir rehearse in Auditorium with Intermediate Voices
6:00pm Chamber Choir Rehearses in Auditorium
Intermediate Voices go to Room 128
6:10pm Wind Ensemble, Grade 10 Band & String Orchestra arrive
6:30pm Grade 10 Band & Wind Ensemble warm-up in Band Room
Chamber Choir go to Room128
String Orchestra warm-up in Room 125
6:50pm Wind Ensemble move into band positions on stage – entering stage left in order
String Orchestra move into stage position on floor in order
Intermediate Voices & Grade 10 Band move to reserved seating in Auditorium

Wednesday, October 25

5:00pm Senior Voices rehearse in Auditorium
5:15pm Grade 9 Voices arrive in Auditorium
5:30pm Grade 9 Voices rehearse in Auditorium
Senior Voices go to Cafeteria
6:00pm Grade 9 Band meet and warm-up on stage in Auditorium
Chamber Choir meet and warm-up in Room 128
Grade 9 Voices go to Cafeteria
6:10pm Wind Ensemble, Grade 11/12 Band & String Orchestra arrive
6:30pm Grade 11/12 Band & Wind Ensemble warm-up in Band Room
String Orchestra warm-up in Room 125
Grade 9 Band remain seated in concert positions on stage
6:50pm Senior Voices, Grade 9 Choir, and Grade 11/12 Band move to assigned seating in Auditorium. Be seated in concert order
String Orchestra move to into stage position on floor in order
6:55pm Chamber Choir move to risers in the Auditorium


CONCERT UNIFORM

Grade 9: Black Dress Pants Black Socks, Black Dress Shoes,
Campbell Music T-Shirt which will be distributed at rehearsals the week of the concert
Senior Women: Black Campbell Uniform Dress, Green Scarf black nylons
low-heeled dress shoes (closed-toe)
Senior Men: Black long-sleeved collared dress shirt, Black dress pants,
Black socks, Black dress shoes
Grey Vest and Black Campbell Music Tie
NO JEANS, CASUAL PANTS OR RUNNING SHOES!
HAIR MUST BE COMPLETELY TIED BACK FROM FACE IN A USING BLACK HAIR TIES


SENIOR UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION

ALL senior MEN must pick up their vests & ties at the following times in Practice Room A :
Monday, Oct. 23

12PM – 12:15PM Grade 10 Band
12:15 – 12:30PM Grade 10 Voices not in Band
12:30 – 1:10PM Grade 11/12 Band and Senior Voices

Tuesday, Oct. 24

12:00PM – 12:15PM Last Call for all Grade 10/11/12 Men who are in Choir
12:15PM – 1:10PM Last Call for all Grade 10/11/12 Men who are not in Choir


ALL Senior WOMEN must pick up their scarves at the following times:

Tuesday, Oct. 24

6:00PM – 6:20PM Grade 10 Band, Grade 10 Voices, Wind Ensemble & String Orchestra

Wednesday, Oct. 25

6:00PM – 6:20PM Grade 11/12 Band and Grade 11/12 Voices


CONCERT ETIQUETTE

It is very important that all music students be absolutely silent when changing over the groups in the middle of the concert! All students are to be in the auditorium to watch each group perform until the end of the concerts. Seats will be reserved for each concert group at the front of the auditorium.


IMPORTANT INFO FOR BAND STUDENTS!

Students with medium and small instruments will hold their instruments and music at their assigned seating spot before and after they have performed. Tuba, Euphonium, Baritone Sax, and Bass Clarinet players will place their instruments at the assigned spots at the side of the auditorium. Bands will have assigned seating in front of the band set-up, Choirs will have assigned seating in front of the choir set-up!
ABSOLUTELY NO STUDENTS ARE TO BE IN THE HALLS BEFORE OR DURING THE PERFORMANCE!!!


CLEAN-UP RESPONSIBILITIES

All choir students are responsible for assisting with the cleanup after the concert.
Things to Do:
All chairs in auditorium stacked
All Choir risers pushed back in position
All warm-up areas clean and returned to proper condition.
