In the Spirit of the 2015 Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, The Campbell Reconciliation Committee strives to promote awareness of Canada’s shared history with Indigenous cultures. One of the projects that the Reconciliation Committee has participated in, is the Faceless Doll Project. This project focuses on bringing attention to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and emphasizes the fact that this is an ongoing problem. The Reconciliation Committee has partnered with Kitchener and Massey Elementary Schools on this project. In the upcoming weeks, the Reconciliation Committee will be hosting a Celebration Week where Campbell students and staff will have an opportunity to participate in a number of different workshops all focusing on Truth and Reconciliation.
