This year Campbell Racing has been working towards completing a Go-Kart build in hopes to race in Regina’s Mini-Indy. The Mini-Indy is a fundraiser for OSI-CAN (Operation Stress Injury or PTSD). In order to compete the students had to fundraise a $1000.00 donation as an entry fee. The build is almost complete and the results are looking far better than I could have ever imagined.
Mr. Neithercut's Law 30 class performed a mock crime scene in the library and the Leader Post was there to capture it!
Thank you to everyone in the Campbell Community for supporting our Local Initiative!! This year we raised $9 236.25 for All Nations Hope, North Central Family Centre, North Central Community Association, City Kidz and White Pony Lodge. We were also able to gather 4 boxes of school supplies, craft supplies and books for Beyond the Bell and 4 boxes of toiletry/hygiene products and winter wear which will be donated to All Nations Hope and North Central Family Centre.
Campbell’s QSA is very active in the building and in the community. This group has already hosted a bake sale fundraiser, a Trans Day of Remembrance, attended the GSA Summit and currently is planning the Queer Prom. Campbell’s QSA is a group that works hard to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ students in the building, but also provides outreach to other schools and community groups.
